Latest car is a 525i touring, needed a bigger fun family car so this is it,

it needs to look better and go faster 300bhp or more

plans are to make it look like an m5, and bung in a e36 m3 engine.

retrim the interior and enjoy it as the summer car for holidays and trips out

going to order and find all the bits I need except the engine and box, and get it all sorted.

That will be a nice project. For a touring that colour blue, polished up, is my favourite colour, it would be my own personal first choice.

Regarding the bits for these their is a guy call Tims based in Northampton who breaks these old BMs. You should be able to find him with a google or facebook.

Based on facebook prices the sport / mtec bumpers make good money now and are a bit harder to come by but those 2 guys would be a good place to start looking.

Calipers sorted, discs and rebuild kits ordered, USA marker lights collected from BMW, exhaust trims swapped, steering wheel sent for re trim, new gear knob ordered, along with a few other bits.

Yeah royal did my old e46 m3 wheel too. Getting the e34 wheel done in a similar style.

Got a replacement rear bumper to Collect to get rid of the tow bar, for the marker lights and then get the brakes refurbished and fitted.
