1962 Austin Healey Sprite - Not perfect but presents straight enough - 47,000 miles - perfect run around and just £4k - Loads about that are full of filler disguised by glossy paint that are 3 times this price
I know the car - sadly way beyond any form of economic restoration / return to the road and therefore only useful as a source of spares
He want's £80.
That's a lot of spares for not much money.
Most Javelin owners are falling over spares and what they don't have one of their fellow owners will have, and that's before they contact the clubs spares department which maintains good stock & exists to keep Jowetts on the road rather than make huge profits on parts - I appreciate its very cheap and there's a lot of parts but you have to somehow collect the car, have the space & time to strip / break it then the space to store the parts - I don't want to appear dismissive but its frankly just not worth the effort from a seasoned / experienced Javelin owner
