Interesting spots on ebay, Gumtree, Car & Classic, etc. Interesting vehicles, ancillaries, accessories, spares or ephemera where the price looks keen. Most recent listings are furthest down the thread.
Pre-WW2 Pratt 3 Cwt trailer. I.O.W. £250.00 Type ?E1? 1930s. Should be a fairly straightforward restoration project to add kudos to a contemporary car.
shame about the green rattlecan paint on the side , it would have looked great with just the flakey bits scraped off and a coat of matt clear chucked on.
Nissan Prairie 1.8 SGL. Norfolk. £500.00 1988. 1st generation (M10), late car. MOT expired 5 years ago. It has required welding in the past and doubtless will need more to go through another MOT test. It is a WAV, (wheelchair accessible vehicle), almost certainly a Brotherwood conversion which means it was a pioneering car and was the first WAV in the world. Worth saving! There are few M10 Prairies left and a disproportionately high number are these Brotherwood conversions. The conversion nearly doubled the cost of the car which meant they were worth looking after and Brotherwood undersealed them as a matter of course thus improving their longevity. Brotherwood have always been, and remain, the gold standard in WAV conversions.
Not that I'd want to but that is dangerously close to breaking money
I hope it finds a new home with an enthusiast but you'd double your money, (at least), by breaking it. Looking good and driving well with a clean MOT it would be a £4K-£5K car.
1974. Looks to have been off the road for quite some time up until relatively recently when it saw a couple of years use but MOT expired 2018. MOT history worth a check. A bit crusty but cheap enough for a s2.

Your next buy Chris ? Maybe get both ? Quick bog and buff and send them on the way.
Ha - Way too much on my very extensive list to get involved - never had much luck with the wheeling & dealing anyway - that said it looks like I've just done a deal on a 73 MGB roadster that was fully restored 20 years ago but has been laid up for the last 10 - add that to the list and it's no wonder I'm quoting 3 year lead times on major restoration work
Again, worst case scenario, if you bought it without a thorough inspection and found a lot more problems than you'd bargained for - it would break for 2 or 3 times that price.
Wow can you really get one of these for £1000?? . . .
No you can't today! You could yesterday. As with all automotive bargains you need your trailer hitched up, cash in your pocket and the willingness to move quickly.
Jaguar XJR(6). Lancs. £995.00 [ !! SOLD !! ] 1996. Short MOT. Needs work. AJ16S supercharged engine, (much more robust and reliable than the AJ-V8). If it's good the engine alone is worth more than the asking price.

Another well sourced bargain - I wonder if the belts are starting to tighten in general at the lower end of the market

Very much so I believe! I've noticed a glut of cars priced low end and I'm sure this is to do with people having to liquidate assets to survive. Imagine what this situation will be like in a year's time.

Hmmm - Me thinks - Trailer + Tow Vehicle + Storage Space + a little dosh (all to hand & readily available) = you could easily double + investment on this type stuff - can I be bothered ? not really I enjoy myself too much in the workshop to go car chasing & kerbside selling
