A suggestion came up on my YouTube feed: Inter-war London. Claude Friese-Greene - Natural Colour. Apart from all the cool old vehicles and absence of architectural monstrosities, you may notice the perfect tarmac, absence of litter, etc.

That popped up on my feed too but i didn't watch it at the time , fascinating though.
I have quite a file of old images of my home village , obviously most of them feature boats in some shape or form so finding cars is a bit tricky but here is a selection of old time Porthleven.
old time transport..
harbourside c1955.
the harbour 1940's?
1967 during the Torrey Canyon clean up.
Fore Street , pre war.
the boatyard , mid 60's
"tracking" , hauling boats to sea.
lifeboat day , early 80's. these days any displays are half a mile out to sea... bloody health and safety!

Fantastic! In fairness to Francis Frith he left a heck of a legacy behind, there weren't many corners of Britain that his company didn't immortalise.
Lands End , 1967 , the plume of smoke is from the Torrey Canyon after being bombed by the RAF.
Truro , 1950's? The scene has changed very little barring the old Woolworths shopfront now being a ghastly modern Poundland
Penzance , again 1950's? The garage building is still there , pretty much in the same form but has been all sorts since then. Last time i went past it was an art gallery.
Guildford High Street back in the day - love it! 🤓
Fab - Austin obviously to the left but possibly a bullnose Morris to the right - the Austin being the newer car would probably date the image in the very late 1920's / early 1930's

I'm wondering if the car on the right with a guy leaning on it is a Vauxhall Prince Henry?
