I have my eye on two GT’s. Both gone quiet. One was thinking about it and the other been to busy or bad weather to take photos. Fingers crossed one will come about. Do feel lockdown will delay issues. I’ve been interested and let down re others in the past so will see ....

Another auction find - 1969 Princess auto - IMHO the guide is a little steep at £4 -£5k for something with mismatched faded paint, a scruffy interior, no history along with the fact its an auto - its for sale via online bidding on the 21/11/2020 with Morris Leslie in Perth, Scotland
I’m still hopeful one GT Purchase May happen out of the two I’ve been potentially offered. I’ve already bought a cover and started buying brochures and items of eBay. Sad I no ! I’m struggling attaching photos here on my mobile (I’m using google to open this forum on my iPhone 7) there no option to add attachments ? Paul

When you start a reply there's an 'add attachment' button top right. Nothing shows up until you post.
Testing Worked it out, bottom right corner there a tab which says use “desktop” I can then reply with attachments. The other quick reply to topic won’t allow you. Got there in the end ! New models arrived 👍

I had the Vanden Plas Princess with the auto box, it was a decent little gearbox as long as you kept the oil clean, the only downside is you lose a carb. I don't think the car is as mint as they make it out to be and probably a bit over-priced. That said, it's nice enough and has presence.
Used to be a place in Chesterfield that specialised in these. Think it was called R.P.M. or something like that. He helped me out on my Metro once, really nice chap.
Austin 1300 GT. Éire. £11,900.00 1973. Mid restoration. Low mileage claimed. I'm putting this up because it's a rare GT* and if it was being restored well it would easily be worth this sort of money BUT I see corners being cut, battered panel, gaping seam and poor prep being sprayed over which would make you wonder what other bodges you'd find. I think also there's a missed opportunity here to have painted the car in a more vibrant GT colour. Original UK registration: OPK 461L *There's nothing with the DVLA data that confirms it was the GT but that's not an unusual oversight.
Wolseley 1300 Mk II. Yorks. £5,350.00 1971. Auto. Low mileage claimed. MOT'd. Has only been MOT'd on 3 occasions in past 15 years with a clean pass each time. Not so clean under the bonnet but compare price with blaze red example above.
