The other grey one with the red engine and red oil cap looks like it might be hiding plenty?!
The plate isn't shown in its entirety so I couldn't review the MOT history. The red engine isn't encouraging admittedly. The price is coming down steadily!

There's so many short cut repairs on that one in Ireland its unreal - its great shame as the car appears to be a sound example and all for that little bit of extra effort it would make a superb example but I see it all the time where the right cars end up in the wrong hands

If you won't countenance engaging apprentices or dogsbodies, would you at least consider cloning so we can see more of these old cars done properly?
I worked on those cars as a second year apprentice in a British Leyland garage in Glasgow. (Think it was British Leyland at that time Full of Triumph, Rover and Morris) Would have been about 1974 as I did 6 years at school and then worked in the Bank Of Scotland for about 10 months before I escaped. Happy days.

1972 Vanden Plas Princess 1300 Auto - wants some work but looks half presentable - certainly restorable and given the prices that they are now demanding this one priced at £2,100 would appear to be sensibly priced
Been let down by two GT owners who contacted me looking to sell. Excuses and change of mind. So still looking !
Hang on in there Paul - somehow between us we will find it for you
Paul - Here you go - PM & E Mail sent too - its not far away from you & given how rare they are not that overly priced and something that you could add value to

This is the car from 8 weeks go. I missed it by half a hour. The owner sold it for £3000. Since then the roof has been ripped of and rattle can satin black. Bodywork painted over with rattle cans. Still has holes in floors. Blowing exhaust and no brakes. However much I really, really want one a ado16 with holes in floors. Rattle can rotten bodywork. No vinyl roof. Blowing exhaust. No brakes I seriously couldn’t pay it. The car will need a lot of money to get it to a good useable standard then three is the bodywork restoration. New roof. New carpet. Etc etc. It’s better to wait for a more expensive better car hands down imho, saying that at the £3000 it was it was worth it and doing the car right there would of been funds to do it right. Looks like it’s sold to. The world really has gone mad ??

I see - purchase the literature & parts first in order to justify purchasing a suitable vehicle that they will accommodate Clever policy - I've being doing that for the last 40 years
It doesn't look bad at first glance but the MOT history suggests indifferent or incompetent maintenance over some years. For a basic 1100 model, if it was a 1 owner car with 30K miles, it might be worth that sort of money. £6K is decent MG 1300 / scruffy 1300 GT territory.
