These have been around for a while, possibly cars that were donated to the Gilbern Owner's Club? The Invader makes a stunning estate when they're done well. I harbour aspirations of shoehorning the Ford Cologne Cosworth (BOB) 2.9 litre 24-valve V6 into one of these one day.
Ford Dorchester limousine. London. £1,650.00 1999. Modest miles. Long MOT. Fully loaded with electric division. Probably an ex-funeral car but could also have been something along the lines of Mayoral transport?

You too could own an even bigger version of the ugliest ford (europe) have ever built. Prove me wrong!

Hopefully the banger boys will scoop that up and do all our eyes a favour....What was Ford thinking.....😳🤣🤣
Funny enough these have been catching my eye - with sensibly priced vans rarely coming to the market - something like this that has a bit of load space would do the job - easily upgraded with plenty of options - VW scene tax is just starting to apply on these so I would have to be quick - this would be perfect - However 'Fife' - yep its lovely part of the country but its a 900 mile - 2 day round trip - which I simply cant find the time for - if it was within 100 / 150 miles of me the trailer would be behind the P38 and on its way to collect it
In my family we had a Derby (booted Mk 1 Polo), a Mk 2 Polo which went down through 3 generations, I have owned a Mk 1 Golf, a Mk 2 Golf and a 6N Polo. Without exception they were all fantastic cars, reliable and mechanically robust. Fields ahead of the BL, Ford & Vauxhall offerings of their era.
The Mk 2 breadvan doesn't have the looks or kudos of the Mk 1 but is a decent and capable little car;

And I missed this one because I was way too busy plus its all the way up in bonnie land
53,000 miles - very, very clean - guided at £1750 - £2250 and it was bought for just £1350 - what a gift - Mileage was warranted and former keepers was 1 not the 7 stated

MOT history a bit chequered but you'd forgive the car that at the price!
Their catalogue is useless, I received an updated one by email yesterday and comparing it to the results prices half the lots are missing.
Jaguar Mk X convertible. 1964. Rare convertible conversion. As much as I love the Mk X / 420G I think the reason these are rare is probably because the Mk X doesn't make the prettiest convertible?
Rare. In nice condition. No doubt it attracts attention and drives nicely. I think however the vendor might be a tad delusional with the £140K premium they've placed on this car. I think they're going to be very disappointed!

I cant see more than £40k there and I'm being very generous at that

when i was racing , i vowed that if i had a SUBSTANTIAL lottery win i would be driving a brand new one straight out of the showroom and straight to the track...and i would have too!

In Jaguar terms you could go out and buy a very nice E-Type convertible, (s1 3.8 through to late V12) or a decent XK120 / 140 / 150 convertible and still have £20K - £50K change. A no brainer for most!

1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
It wants a lot of work - especially when you look at that offside rear wheelarch loaded with filler (you can bet that the nearside is the same if not worse under that grey primer) - the brakes alone on these can be the subject of eyewatering expenditure on each corner yet alone collectively - none the less its restorable - no real hard evidence of its claimed provenance and if its true its hardly going to add any significant value (much as I value Mr Holder's talents) - Given the mountain that you would have to climb and more to the point the amount of expenditure you would have to throw at it before it sees the road again - leaves me thinking that the vendors £4k asking price is somewhat ambitious (half of that in my book but then again at £2k you could strip it for parts and make money and the car deserves much better than that)
Link not working but i assume we are talking about Lord Noddy of Holder? Thats going to be a massive money pit but for each one that disintegrates or ends up on the oval , it must drive values up?
