Because it found me. I’ve always liked rotaries. I had a ludicrously quick Vw Beetle that was rotary powered. These rx2’s are rare in the U.K. It’s one of about 5 original U.K. registered cars left. It belonged to a good friend of mine who needed to sell it because he needed to put some money into his company. He knew if he sold it to anybody else, it would be straight in a shipping container and advertised in Australia six weeks later for stupid money. So I bought it and have hunted for spares for it for the last seven years or so. I always maintained I wouldn’t start until I either had all the panels I needed , or a way to make them. That time has eventually arrived.

Cool, thanks for that - I will be watching with great interest.

What an utterly fantastic mentality...one which I hope to never be afflicted with as it would only get in the way of me filling sheds with cars I will eventually get round to
Seriously though, speaks volumes to the sort of person you are...Bravo Johnny bravo

Scratched the itch (or itched the scratch!) with a nice standard 1985 RX7 a couple of years ago - lovely thing & glad to have owned it - next itch / scratch is a 3 rotor!
