Meanwhile wiring to the front lamps was investigated
The bulb holders are incorrect & broken - the side lights need to be converted to indicators
And the headlights require conversion to accept side lights - The old style British Pre Focus headlamp bulbs will be deleted in exchange for halogen but with a BFP fitting - these allow for the headlamps to remain rather than be replaced (New replacements which accept halogen bulbs directly are stupidly expensive)
Not overly impressed with the Autosparks wiring harness - whilst its proved correct so far - it now fails in the respect that it terminates in the centre of the bonnet - leaving the lighting to the front of the bonnet unconnected - I'll be having words with them but it took near on 12 months for them to produce the harness that I have so I'll resolve the issue and make up the front harnesses myself in order to keep the momentum behind the project
New left & right front harnesses made up & wrapped - just require the terminals adding now

Incorrect rear lamps removed - I spent some time researching the market for a suitable Lucas period type lamp - not all the parts are available from a single supplier and some lamps require conversion in order to achieve the correct colour lens & bulb holder - The car came with only semaphore indictors fitted to the A posts - I'm undertaking a conversion to fit indictor lamps at each corner of the car - Whilst there are hundreds of alternative automotive indicator lamps in the market there is less than a handful that would suit the classic styling of the car
Regulator box was fitted & wired in - this is a new modified unit built in the style of old Lucas regulator boxes - the wiring up is identical but this new box allows for the dynamater conversion that is being fitted to the car - still some finishing off in this area to complete with earth's & accessory wiring
