My parents first car was a Morris 1100 Mk1, in black with a greenish interior. They loved it so much, it was replaced with a white Mk1 that was a few years newer, but didn't have the same feel good factor.
A white Morris 1100 Mk1 has just turned up on eBay. When was the last time you saw one of these ?
Spidey senses tingle with that one. Boot floor looks to have had some treatment for something thats "untouched". Top or rear seat and shelf look to have been eaten by the sun too!

Wouldn't touch that with a bargepole - its most certainly had a life - welded patches in the boot floor covered with mismatched rattle can paint & thick underseal brushed on halfway up the sills + £6k price tag - vendor is really trying his luck
Have to say, I'm taking the 6K mileage with a pinch of salt, as there is no history and a bit of bagginess to the drivers seat
If you look at the last MOT in 2010 the MOT examiner had given it a stellar mileage by, I'm guessing, inserting an erroneous digit and counting the .9 miles as 9 miles. If you accommodate these errors the mileage could be the same as now which probably means the odometer has been broken for a good while.

1968 Riley Kestrel 1300 manual
30,000 miles - rare colour scheme & very, very clean - at £7k I'd say that this is on the money and would readily be £9,500 on a classic car dealers forecourt - prices are gaining momentum especially for the rarer variants
Been a few cars on eBay last few weeks and it’s been quiet on here guys and girls ..
Post 'em up dear boy - I never go on ebay nowadays but always interested to see what's available and will add one to the stable one day when the right car comes along

1971 Austin 1100 - Manual but with a 1300 engine fitted - looks very well presented - vendor is asking £7k - given the recent upwards trend in values I'd say that its fairly priced

1966 Vanden Plas 1100 - very low mileage and presents in stunning condition - But way too rich for one of these - granted you could not fully restore one for that type of money but its more of a £12k car than the £18k that the vendor is asking

And it's very nice, but I much prefer a crisp base model with none of the gaudiness, which for me doesn't work on a small and essentially pretty basic car - a bit try-hard rather than pure and unpretentious

Nice car, utterly absurd price. Don't knock the Vanden Plas frills - do knock the greedy Tw@ who thinks it's worth that much!

Snapped up & rightly so by the looks of it - great deal
This was up again but a dealer last week on eBay for £3000 starting bid but auction ended so looks like he sold it. The dealers are on it. Private buyers need to pick up the bargains before they jump on them but very difficult as they Sat there ready to go straight away.
Morris 1300 GT. Warwickshire. Auction (current high bid is £3K). 1969. 'TKE 261H' It's been off the road for quite a while and will need a lot of work but isn't a basket case.
I never have got the issue with British cars making a sporty version but only as a 4 door, despite having a 2 door version in the range, Austin 1300GT, Avenger Tiger, Dolly Sprint, and many more if I think about it that should have been made as 2 door cars
