I very very rarely watch tube stuff, cant abide it having to wade through the dross looking for something that might be vaguely worth watching!
I like wood, always have and its my go to for stuff like this as its easy to work with, if it doesn't work nothing lost really

Not much done, was in a rush so only one picture but just imagine lots of grindering and bashing and were in! its a bit low on the joint where it rises up but its covered so I can live with that, don't tell anyone though!
