Goodwood revival 2021 piccies

A whole lot more to follow once I upload mine - all 3 1/2 days of them - but I'm not long home from the event - wiped - just finishing the gin & off to snooze - so later 

Absolute gentlemen.  Normally leave them on bricks round here. 

They use the car they nicked the night before to knock down a garden wall and use the bricks from that. Simple.

If you are lucky, with good friends and in the right place at the right time, Goodwood has a few tricks up its sleeve.


grumpynorthener 's rather wonderful - and fast  Jowett Javelin took us from the Kennels parking and breakfast meeting point to the revival.

At the end of the day, a equally wonderful AC Buckland took us back.

Big Rotary Machine?

My thanks to moglite for warming up the thread - So Revival is a fantastic event where all things related to classic circuit motor racing are celebrated annually over a 3 day event - there's lots of other things & happenings that add to what is a very unique event that I'll attempt to include in the postings 



Firstly there's a cricket match on the Thursday afternoon in the grounds of Goodwood House - The teams are largely made up from the drivers of the race cars - quite a few of which are well known celebrities - its a fun event but for those that don't care for cricket (including me) there's a good reason for making the effort to attend 



And that will be the cars - the match has its own dedicated parking for everything considered classic - The red Healey just happened to be the last ever Healey off the production line 



Of course my Javelin & a few others were in attendance 











Along with rows upon rows of classics that go on to make up a very eclectic range of motors 



More cricket ? - Hmm - thought not 











Have I already said 'Eclectic' ? 



This sweet little 'Rosengart' was nothing but delightful 



















Motorcycles also make an appearance 





Which tend to be just has special as the cars 









Next was a break for refreshments but even the tea / coffee van is period 









Refreshment break over then back to the cars
