Got the front suspension stripped :

Painted the inner wheel wells with raptor.. Tinted body colour:

Cleaned up a the front suspension a bit and refitted it :

Should really have blasted the front legs and painted them properly but I kinda need it rolling and I eventually want to fit some gaz coil overs.. But at the same time the stuff that's on there is actually quite good.. Gaz adjustable front inserts with Burton -2 inch 145lb springs.. Eccentric top mounts and superflex bushes throughout.. So may leave it as is for the time being.. Decisions decisions

That's what I'm leaning towards at the moment as its all good stuff but just scabby looking.. Wish I'd cleaned it up better before I refitted it.. But more pressing matters at the moment 😂

Yeah it's OK.. It genuinely is the last bit of welding so I don't mind.. Just was disheartened last night to be honest

I can confirm that underseal gets literally everywhere.. Those underpants will never be the same..

How do you know I was using them as a face mask😳.. Sometimes I like rolling around with a spraygun in the nip😉

OK so I've been a bit quiet with this lately due to not having much to report..(put a roof on my house, demolished walls, arguing with tradesmen and architects.. All worthy endeavours but non car related.. Boring 🤣) However I have made some progress.. The cinq is now on the road.. I'll update the other thread when I get time.. And the capri is killing me again.. Undersealing is complete.. Cavity waxing is 90% there (never again) and I've fitted a bit more.. Pics:

I'm very emotional right now and also 300 euros poorer and apparently the correct bronze tint screen with the blue top tint sunstrip is unavailable now.. Oh well

Unfortunately a lexan screen isn't legal and would fail our version of the mot..im hoping the screen broke due to me being a bit rash fitting it and not something more sinister like the roof skin in the wrong place

A sod about the screen but its coming on now.
