BSA 3 wheeler rebuild carried over from introduction section

Just some final details before it departs the workshop then 



Offside section of the boot lid was flatted & first stage polished 



Then the rest of the car given a clean up followed by a second stage polish 



Followed by a gold coachline placed between the 2 colours - coachlines were pretty common in the era that the car was built 



I now need to pick the best day to avoid the rain in order to deliver it back to Derek 



But has I write its pretty awful with lots of heavy rain throughout the day - its forecasted to clear up from tomorrow onwards 



Derek will complete the fit up once its back with him but I don't think that there's too much to do 



Once its complete I'll pop over and take the final pics 



Should you reside around the Cirencester area - expect this little beast to be turning your head in the not too distant future 

So with the weather looking bright on Tuesday the car was realised into the daylight 





Then loaded to the trailer for its onward journey / delivery



Derek will now set to and get the car fitted back up 



But he's not been idle while awaiting for the BSA to be returned 



He purchased this Berkeley B105 

 

It was in a non running state and had been stood for a number years prior to Derek's purchase 



He's set to and rebuilt the Royal Enfield twin cylinder 700cc engine and returned the car to the road - he also found time to take me out for a spin in it - immense fun with great road holding - a proper smiles for miles car - Once he has the BSA completed I'll pop over and take some completed pics 

Looks like a Standard Ten steering wheel.

First time up together and on the road since 1963, I am useless at uploading picture so maybe someone could make them a bit bigger.
