I havent done much, just been doing a few short local runs but one thing that did bug me was the indicators, the old bi-metallic flasher units are fussy on voltage so the indicators would flash at different rates depending on the engine RPM, if you just have a 2 pin flasher unit its a doddle to fit a modern electronic unit but mine is a 3 pin which has a separate output for the single dash indicator, I could have dug deep into the harness where the left/right hand indicator wiring splits and messed around with diodes but for £12 this was the solution! we now have indicators that flash at a decent rate regardless of engine speed
I put a relay in the Sportshatch when it went back together, and it's a job that I keep meaning to do on the Firenza as it flashes a bit more consistently. Mine is just a two-pin one, so an easy conversion.
