Think these were called a Welbike. My Uncle Jack was in the RASC and was taken to a warehouse in WW2 with a load of crates and told to get building. He had no idea what was in them but it was a load of these in kit form. He had to put them together and then run them in for about 5 miles each. Said he had a great time. In fact he said his 7 years in the Army were the best of his life despite going through a World War!
