Can you fit a remote filter setup while you're in there?
Not really, besides the old filter is out now anyway. Just waiting for the new filter. Looks like FedEx is now trying to out do Hermes for worst courier of the year. Today marks day three of a next day delivery 🤬
is the down feed a gravity feed with an oil filled cylinder with a bypass? I had to sort one years ago, the down control needle/taper seat valve had been replaced previously, but the that person had missed the foot valve on the fill side when you lifted the blade.
Looks like an oil filled cylinder and a valve. It does slow it down, just not enough. Going to open it up, as I suspect the seals are knackered

You really dont seem to have a lot of luck with couriers in your neck of the woods!
Could be worse...could be parcel farce! Herpes are generally shite but our local guys are good as gold as are our regular dpd drivers. I think a lot depends how many farks your local depot gives , what ever the company.

Funnily enough, Parcelforce are brilliant in these parts. APC and DPD good as gold. FedEx has gone to the dogs in the last year, and My Herpes? Well, they have always been rear gunners around these parts. My Herpes do however keep their 100% record of the only courier to lose one of my parcels in the last 12 years, a feat they achieve every three to four years. Yep, they have lost 3 of my parcels in the last 12 years, the third one they lost about a month ago 🙄
I've had no real problems with any of the above. It's DHL who are my nemesis. They're not known as Drop it, Hide it, Lose it for nothing.
DHL makes me crazy as well - to say that they are zealous in terms of collecting duty and taxes (with the attendant broker fees) is beyond frustrating. Last DHL shipment was $26 USD. I had to pay $20 to ship it to Canada and another $20 fee for $2 duty.
