1976 Mercedes 350 SL - Complete for restoration - Ok its bit of a donkey and needs metal letting in various areas + paint and some trim but these are now strong money - dealer is asking £3,995 - kick his shins really hard and bag it for under £3.5k and its at breaking money - buts its probably too good to break despite its current cosmetic appearance

1989 Renault Alpine Turbo - Ok its a bit of a dog with a seized engine but loads of potential here if you can live with the late 80's Froggy Wedgeness - Vendor is looking for £3,995 - I doubt that you'll find one any cheaper

1913 Cadillac 50 HP Roadster project - All the makings of a excellent Edwardian Roadster with loads of power - could be a proper beast if built correctly - Vendor is asking £10k

1984 VW T25 Camper - complete for restoration - running engine removed - requires some external panels but looks like a solid structure and a good basis to start from - Its also very cheap - £500 which is breaking money
I have alsways fancied the Fiat 124 coupe. Can't say that I have ever even seen one in the flesh but, I find the lines so pretty and (for Fiat especially) the size is big enough for North America. Super rare on this side of the pond, I would have this in my garage in a heartbeat. Seems fairly priced for what appears to be a solid project. (3550 GPB) Of course I would have to pay a divorce settlement but....

A very different project - 1968 Airstream Safari - requires full restoration but these a worth a pretty penny when done correctly and there is now a huge vintage scene that renders these highly sought after - vendor is asking £10,500 ono

1978 Mercedes 450SL R107 - Solid rolling shell with a spare car with drivetrain along with a good half leather interior - R107's are climbing in value especially the V8 engined versions - Interesting project to which value is readily added - vendor is looking for £5k
It could be (totally is) that I have a soft spot for unusual cars. I have literally never seen one before and didn't realize it even existed but, there is a look of a Hino Contessa to it especially from the rear - and even a bit of NSU TT to the top of the rear windshield. I like it and while $3000 CDN is a bit high you will literally never find another.

1969 Daimler 250 V8 Project - complete & pretty sound - comes with a spare engine - dealer priced @ £3,950 but get the price closer to the £3k mark and it would be a very justifiable & rewarding project

1971 Triumph Toledo - 1500 manual - complete running & driving project that's reasonably presentable - MOT / ULEZ exempt and free road tax - obviously could be improved but what great little run around for £1500

1929 Alvis Silver Eagle - Rebodied - virtually all there needs the engine rebuilding, bonnet fabricating, paint & trim - Fabulous project for the price of the body alone - £4k - If only I had the time

1977 Triumph 2000 - Rolling shell - complete less engine - Looks solid enough - would make a great Restomod - I'm pretty sure you could squeeze a nice compact V8 in under the bonnet - Its cheap enough at £1,795

This I would love to see in my garage. OK it is on an S10 frame (small pickup truck) but, what a great restomod. Drop a V6 or even a small V8 in with AC and cruise control and you could go anywhere. Love the lines and lover the rarity
As an aside before Covid there was an Austin A60 Farina wagon for sale for months not too terribly far away. No frame but the body and parts - I would have similarly plunked it on an S10 frame - but, there was that little matter of wanting to stay married.
Maybe just go the traditional route and put it over Jag gubbins. A retromod? I could also see dropping it over a Subaru drive train and making it an all wheel drive sleeper. It would sure be unique.
