The rear boot tray is (was) covered with a hessian backed vinyl faced material the nearest modem material for this replacement is Hadura
This trim can also be used for the inner cills it is available from Martrim and other trim specialists, being 1.5M wide its long enough to go down the full length of the cill so you can achieve full covering with no joints.
I recommend you use this grainy faced very hard wearing trim for these areas. (It was used in E type Jaguars )
The boot bottom could have 4 buttons than hold it in place but the shape means you don’t need these. There are 4 holes in the floor area for potential buttons that have plastic bungs in. The button goes in 5he bung . If these holes still exist they will need bunging (plugging) anyway. The boot edging was not trimmed off, I black spray dyed my edgings so as to hide the fraying whiskers and in time they will disappear. Hadura also acts as a sound proofing.
