Its looking good, not too far off now for top coat now then?
I'm hoping not but currently held back by myself with a chest infection which has well & truly knocked me off my feet - not been through the workshop door for the last week and I reckon it will be at least another week before I'm fit enough to head back in there - I still have some profiling to complete but not too much then its a matter of removing all the loose panels and completing the profiles on apertures / shuts / bulkhead / flanges / hidden areas etc - I'll be removing the body off the chassis for primer & final paint finish but in the realms of things its really not that far away from going into final paint - I'd think a couple of weeks would see it in the shiny stuff - its going to have to be painted in 2 or 3 sessions - I just don't have the room to do everything in one go
Thanks George - things have escalated a little since then - went to see the GP again on Friday and was immediately referred to A&E - then admitted - hence I'm currently incarcerated in Basingstoke General - unlikely to be discharged for a few days yet but on the mend & in good hands
Hope all goes well for you Chris I know only too well from the last few weeks how something can creep up on you and turn your life upside down Get well soon buddy
Hi Chris - Take the opportunity to get some rest and make sure that you recover properly. Get well soon. I assume that you have been able to make arrangements for Sid, not that many of us can help there. Thinking of you both. Best wishes BW

Dear all - Many thanks for your messages - its much appreciated that when you are rushed through the doors of a strange institution wondering if you will make it to your next intake of breath or not - said institution being even stranger than you could ever predict in the current pandemic situation - so to read a few words of comfort (whilst strictly not being allowed visitors) in a friendly forum environment meant a hell of a lot to me especially when I personally have never even met most of you (but it feels like I have - if that makes any sense) - thankfully a team of dedicated health professionals had me sorted and down the recovery road in a short space of time and I'm now back recovering at home as of this afternoon - In a very big way this place that we call the 'BRM Forum' already very much feels something like home to me even though we are only a few weeks old - normal service / progress on the Jupiter shall resume in the next week or so - I'm behind with my progress reports hence I can bring you up to date in the interim - thanks again - Chris
