Ford Falcon ute still earning its keep. Think these are powered by the Barra engine which if you don't know what it is then look it up on YooToob. Stick a turbo on a standard engine and you can get north of 800hp out of them. Proper job.

Its an XH ute. Originally based on the XF falcon built in 1984. All they did was keep changing the front of it to make it look newer. Added things like central locking and then remote access. They were built to the same specs a taxi was, so some of them have done close to a million KMS. They are getting thin on the ground these days as people just abused the shot out of them.
Walking back from a fruitless fishing session came across this is Sorrento life saving club car park. The old guy bought it 50 years ago as his first car for $1100. Had a lovely chat to him for 15 minutes before taking the photos and bidding my leave.
Lovely Monaro spotted at Hillarys boat harbour. Steve was a good bloke and happy to have some photos taken. There's just loads of cool cars out n about around here.
Headed up to Mullaloo beach today as the wife and I got married there 10 years ago today. Had a nice afternoon/evening and even managed to grab a couple of retro spots.
First up a bit of a euro rarity in the shape of a Volvo V70 R.
Down in the pubs basement car park was a nice Ford Falcon ute with bug catcher.
Went down to Fremantle at the weekend. I've been to Perth on 5 or 6 different occasions and this was my first ever visit to Freo (as the locals call it). Popped into Little Creatures brewery for some snap and a beer. Elsie their split screen ute was parked up outside as it always is. Think the salt air must be getting to it as it's getting a bit frilly in places.
What wasn't frilly was this one that was coming through the car park as we were leaving. It looks it but that's the whole patina thing I guess. It was a solid old thing.
Popped down to the Lucky Shag for some snap and a beer today as it's the wifes last day off work. This 240 estate was in the car park. I've always like the boxiness of these things. Wife says I can't have a Volvo as her dad had them and that means I'm turning into her dad.
Got the wife to snap this as we were driving back from Freo. She missed about 4 others including a T Bucket with flathead V8. It's almost as if she doesn't see them!
