Bearing in mind (no pun) this rod is 4 ft long, I would think Boat, and most engine rooms are not manned most of the time that bearing failure would entail an engine out rebuild, and STUPID amounts of downtime, I doubt it it would have been ignored if heard, unless the Tug fees are even more stupid than a crank and rod
