1967 Morgan Plus 4 - Complete restoration project - Left hand drive but readily converted to right hand - good parts availability and in the right hands a straight forward nut & bolt project - trade vendor is asking £6k for it - very rarely do Morgans come to the market has projects & restored correctly its a £25k + car
Thats the one that was featured in Practical Performance Car magazine a while ago. They fitted a huge turbo and intercooler too it, took it to the Nurburgring etc.

4 seater nice car alot of work in it. 6k pounds to AUD is about 11K. I know how much time and parts would be for this one. In saying that i would still buy it

1955 Austin A30 Countryman - In pretty sound original condition - its only done 21,000 miles from new - recently recommissioned - use has is or would look stunning with a fresh paint job - Dealer wants £6k for it which is pretty fair - it would be a lot fairer at £5k though
That's an absolute bargain in GPB that's a little over £11k - a well restored one is £35k - £50k - despite the vendors claim that it wants a full restoration - if the ash frame is solid I would just recommission it as is / obviously rebuilding anything that's required but leave it presented as a oily rag car - you wouldn't find it over here in its current condition for sub £20k and the registration number alone if it can be retained is worth upwards of £3k in the UK (although I personally would not want to separate it from the car)
But I did wonder if the GBP was that strong, alas not - it appears to $19,750 USD - a little over £14,000
Still lovely though, I'd make the interior habitable, and give it a base line service, and grow another handlebar moustache to suit.
And another big chunk of money to get it over to Blighty & re-registered. That plate is very desirable and value-wise could potentially make all the difference but would the DVLA award it back to that car?
www.bonhams.com/auctions/26807/lot/2/ Auctions are a good yard-stick of actual value, this is a very recent UK sale. The car looks to be in generally better condition than the US Kestrel and total price was under £15K.

1970 Wolseley 18/85 Auto - Pretty clean runner that requires tidying at £1,700 offers invited - its not a fortune and would tidy up a treat in the right hands
Oh, that one again. Woof, woof. Both sills, rear wheel arches, all four doors, bonnet and floor. Rotten. Got a Six grill on the front. If you try and drive it you'll probably die as the servo's been taken off and it will be just about impossible to stop unless you're Mr Schwarzenegger.

Apart from that, the interior's nice.
In that case the pics don't do it the justice it deserves i.e. 'For brave restoration or spares - £250 ono'

Mr Needham's car. It is a beaut. Featured in the August edition of Practical Classics.
Proper mint cars can now nudge £12k and the genuine rally cars are up over £30k. About time they started to be worth something. Mind you, I'd still baulk at £1700 for a restoration project. The price puts in the area of being bodged cheaply as the rot is found and then punted on to some unsuspecting buyer who'll be fooled by nice shiny paint. Worrying.
