I feel this one needs some additional explanation! The 'Firey Beast of Turin' is a technically faithful recreation of the Fiat S76. 111 years ago they took a 28 litre 4-cylinder airship engine and screwed a car onto it. It's a very low-revving, high-geared car and 1,000 rpm in top gear equates to 128mph. In 1913 an incredibly brave Arthur Duray topped 132mph at Ostend making it unofficially the world's fastest car, (it didn't get the official land speed record as the car didn't complete the return journey within the allotted hour). This speed wasn't bettered until 1922.
