Speed tends to be quite important to the majority of us with a interest in cars - whilst I hold no desire to push my luck in todays world of covert camera government revenue generating traps and when you can avoid them there's other technology available that's quite capable of adding points to your licence whilst deducting funds from your wallet and we have not even included the countless number Mr Dogood's with their new found daily hobby of submitting their dashcam footage to every authority that they can find - Still does not prevent my love of speed though - to avoid any of the above mentioned hassle I watch it instead - none of this modern stuff mind
Watching a driver pilot a single seat historic race car is world apart from todays race cars - no fancy computerised race technology employed here - just some sheer determination in keeping the car on the track
Single seat historic race cars then - quite often a thing of beauty, a real challenge to drive, they sound fabulous and are something else to watch when being raced competitively - please feel free to post up your own pics of all pre 2001 single seat race cars
