Here we go then - just waiting for the vendor to get over the holidays & realise that he wont get that type of money for it then throw a £3k bid his way
The Mk2 shares the front and dash, and probably other stuff with the Stag. I had a Stag for ages, so I'll stick with the Mk1 just to have something different. At least we won't be squabbling over that tidy Mk2
Thanks Ian - £5k with a hacked wiring harness half the trim panels missing on the nearside. holes in the dash and a not so honest paint job - that will be a no then
Triumph 2000 estate. Warwickshire. £6,250.00 1973. Auto. Modest mileage. Just over a year out of MOT, (exempt). MOT history shows years of light use with many clean passes and no horror stories in MOT advisories. No bargain but looks very decent. Would be a better prospect with m/od.
2500S m o/d auction. Lancs. Owner recently deceased acquired car in 2018. No MOT history suggests it was parked up for a long time before that. Looks to be a nice example but with no recent tests might look better than it actually is?
That looks like a lovely well cared for example. eBay bidding seems to agree with me - nice car for somebody.
Brings back memories. As a second year apprentice I worked in a British Leyland (was that what they were called then?) The days of the TR6, Rover P6, Still plenty of Rover P5 coming in, Toledo, Dolomite, Stag etc etc. Those were the days.
