I don't know why but I've always fancied a period recovery truck or transporter - sadly ownership of such would probably be completely impractical - however it's not something I'm willing to dismiss just yet - here' s a few pics
Wave £30k in my direction and we'll talk. Annoy the hell out of that lovely neighbour of yours
Ho I wish - lovely piece of kit - alas I have nowhere practical to keep it or anything of this size - I'll have to just to resort to looking & admiring
I really want an early mk3 transit recovery. When I have room for it. I think I’ll start looking for one.
I can see the attraction, when I used to move a lot of my own cars around and buy a lot I did consider getting something like this as a truck is just so much easier than a car and trailer but the extra insurance and tax (over just hooking a trailer up to my every day car) was just too much for me to buy one in the end.

That is absolutely mandatory in the frankenhealey stables,to round off his transporter collection. Otherwise we will have to change his name to halfjobhealey...🤣🤣🤣
Given it’s HY based it should be slow enough for him to handle 🤣🤣🤣

All transporters are slow Mr. Bravo. It's the value of the things that they are carrying that is the limiting factor. I followed a Fewwaawi team transporter up to Silverstone in the recent past and the Goddess would have been faster, as I kept muttering through my teeth, as they took the next and all the previous roundabouts at 3mph.
