Had a few spots recently but either through driving or forgetting my phone I didn't get any pics. 3 of them were pretty spectacular too. A convertible Pontiac GTO, an E-type Jag and a convertible Jensen Interceptor. The other was a well used early 80's Celica.
We used to get the Commodore like the yellow one,in South Africa, but it was badged as Chevrolet not Holden. 3800 or 4100 straight six. Good for spinning tyres, loads of torque but used to runout of puff at about 100mph, irrespective of how many tonnes you had in the boot 🤣🤣🤣
I knew one of the neighbours had something nice under a cover as I could see the corner of a chrome bumper sticking out. The heavy winds we've had recently have revealed it in all its glory. Very nice indeed Sir.
I lived in Melbourne briefly after school and wanted a Holden ute more than anything - just couldn't stretch to one sadly, but was lucky enough to have a Moke which I bought for next to nothing with no oil pressure following a rebuild - they'd forgotten to put the relief valve back, got one at a scrappy and off we went. Happy days!

I do like a Moke and obviously much more practical over here than back in the UK.
