1927 Jowett Long 4 Tourer - Barn Find

So - a long trip yesterday to certain misty part of the world 







That's North Yorkshire for you 



In tow behind me 



Sadly its off to a new home - recent reality checks dictate that I simply don't have time and I'm thinning some of the stashed project fleet out 



But its always nice when you know that you've found the right home for it 



So its gone to a lifetime collector of various bits petrol powered machinery 



Just some of Chris's collection - Riley special that he built the body for - behind it is a Alvis saloon 



And a really nice usable Alvis Tourer 



Various sheds crammed with stuff

Some 45 motorcycles spread over the sheds & barns - all in running order 



1912 Torpedo - along with mountains of spares 



A barn full of stationary engines 



Lofts crammed with spares that he's gathered over the years 



And more motoring related tat that you could ever desire 







In other words a proper period petrolhead 



Chris called me this morning and he's already on with the work on Jowett, joined the club and the local club members have been around to see him (they are all members of the same local vintage / classic car club) - I think that my work is done with this one, found / saved / some work advanced / exhibited and off to a good home - I'll update the thread once Chris has it back on the road 

That looks like the Hole of Horcum, God’s Country.
If so, thats a road I know very well from my youth😁
